YOUNG people at a Sheffield charity are being challenged to solve the mystery of what their future holds - with help from a new board game.
The first finished copy of Career Detectives was presented to Pat Booth, manager of the Pitstop group, by its inventors Joseph Leech, aged 35, and 29-year-old Jon Maiden.
The pair have developed the ‘old school’ game as a way of introducing children from primary age and above to the world of work.
Pat said she was delighted to get hold of the first game - and said her youngsters couldn’t wait to play it.
She said: “This is the best resource I’ve ever seen for careers education. There is nothing out there for pupils quite like this.”
