MORE strife with insurers – this time it’s the firm that covers Veolia.
Robert Atkinson fell out with the firm that handles Sheffield’s waste after a worker bumped his car with a bin.
Luckily he saw it happen and challenged the man, who filled out a ‘bump card’.
So far so good, but then he claims Veolia appeared to do a U-turn and disputed liability.
Robert, of Fox Hill Crescent, Fox Hill, said: “With a signed card I thought all would be straightforward.
“The damage is only small and relatively inexpensive to repair, about £80, but I saw it happen so I don’t see how they can dispute anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.”
A VEOLIA Environmental Services spokeswoman said: “This claim has been considered and we have asked our insurance company to settle it as soon as possible.”
