THEY’RE funky, they’re fun and they’re getting festive.

That’s the Funky Dance Fever girls who have been raising funds for charity yet again, this time for St Luke’s Hospice.

The girls, aged eight to 14, danced at Ice Sheffield for the St Luke’s Hospice Christmas lights switch on.

Funky Dance Fever, which is based at Springs Leisure Centre, Arbourthorne, is a disco, jazz, street and contemporary dance group taught by sisters Amy and Jo Burton.

They said: “We are very proud of all the girls for smashing the ice with their energetic performance, all in aid of such a worthy cause.”

Funky Dance Fever will be spreading Christmas cheer at Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village tomorrow night.

Classes are every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm at Springs Leisure Centre, Sheffield, for children aged six to 18 years.
