Organisers of Doncaster’s Spring Fair are again hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for charity when they return to the Leisure Park car park near the Vue Cinema this week.
The fair, run by International Funfairs, starts its five-day run on Wednesday, March 30 until Sunday, April 3.
The chosen charity for this year is again Help For Heroes, and on Thursday night showmen Roger Tuby and Stewart Robinson will be giving the public the opportunity to purchase £2 worth of vouchers for the large rides, children’s rides, Ghost Train, Fun House and rollercoaster for £1.
Every penny raised from the sale of the vouchers between 6pm and 10pm will go to the charity.
“We’re always made to feel welcome when we open in the town and last year our charity session worked really well and proved popular not only offering great value to the public but also giving everyone the opportunity to give something to a good cause,” said Mr Tuby.
