THE funeral is to be held today for a South Yorkshire man whose body was found after he was reported missing from home.
Mark Holland, aged 31, of Grange View Road, Kimberworth, was found in woodland in Tinsley, Sheffield, four days after he disappeared.
He set off from home to cycle to work in Attercliffe on Tuesday, January 3, but failed to turn up and did not return to his partner and young son at the end of the day.
Police mounted a large scale search to try to find Mr Holland, which included officers re-tracing the steps he would have taken to get to work.
His body was eventually found in Woodland on Saturday, January 7.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned by the coroner into his death.
Mr Holland’s funeral is to be held at Grenoside North Chapel at 11am today.
He is survived by his parents Pat and Chris, partner Victoria and son Brandon.
