A bouncy castle, face painting and family fun was on offer at a charity fundraiser for a new disability centre.

Alive Day Care Centre will open next Monday at Paces Campus in High Green and offer services for the disabled and those with severe learning disabilities.

The charity raised £1,600 to put toward the centre’s £300-a-day running costs.

Spokesman Rebecca Cutts said: “It is the only centre in Sheffield to offer services like hydrotherapy and rebound sessions under one roof.”
