FINANCE worth £23 million will be available to help develop offices and industrial premises in Sheffield.
The JESSICA Fund has been created by Sheffield City Region local enterprise partnership and Sheffield Council’s Creative Sheffield arm.
The money has come from £8 million provided by the LEP and £15 million by the European Regional Development Fund.
Through the fund, finance will be available for schemes at a time when banks and other institutions are not prepared to lend.
Coun Leigh Bramall, Sheffield Council cabinet member for business, skills and growth, said: “This fund will stimulate growth and overcome barriers to growth in the development and property sectors.”
