MEET aptly-named twin lambs Snowy and Frosty – who were born during the recent cold snap in South Yorkshire.

They came into the world at Cannon Hall Farm in Cawthorne, near Barnsley – and are now proving a hit with visitors.

The twins will be among the stars of the show during the farm’s half-term activities, which run from today until Sunday, February 24, and include sheep and ferret racing.

Richard Nicholson, farm director, said: “We’ve had baby piglets, goat kids and even a baby donkey over the past month so we have loads of baby animals to see.”

On March 28 the farm holds a Lambing Live event, with the farm and tearoom open all night and lots of lambs expected.
