FULL LIST: Road closures and bus changes put in place this week in Sheffield

Below is a full list from Travel South Yorkshire of bus changes and road closures affecting commuters throughout this week, from August 22nd through to next week.

Carr Road, Deepcar (Sheffield) AMENDED DIVERTS

Carr Road will be closed between its junctions with Hillcrest Road and Royd Lane for resurfacing work Monday 22nd August until Friday 26th August 2016 (0700–1900). AMENDED DIVERTS

Service 57 towards Stocksbridge to operate as normal to Helliwell Lane at the junction of St Margaret Avenue then divert via Helliwell Lane, Townend Lane, Royd Lane, Hollin Busk Lane, Broomfield Lane and Knowles Avenue before resuming normal route on Lee Avenue.

Service 57 towards Sheffield to operate as normal to Lee Avenue then divert via Knowles Avenue, Broomfield Lane, Hollin Busk Lane, Royd Lane, Townend Lane and Helliwell Lane before resuming normal route at the junction of St Margaret Avenue.

Service 201 towards Chapeltown to operate as normal to Broomfield Lane then divert via Bracken Moor Lane, Lee Avenue, Knowles Avenue, Broomfield Lane, Hollin Busk Lane, Royd Lane, Townend Lane, Helliwell Lane and Hillcrest Road before resuming normal route on Carr Road.

Until Tuesday 23rd - Service SL to operate as normal to Carr Road then divert via Hillcrest Road, Helliwell Lane, Townend Lane, Royd Lane, Hollin Busk Lane, Broomfield Lane and Knowles Avenue before resuming normal route on Lee Avenue.

From Wednesday 24th - Service SL as normal from Middlewood to Deepcar then divert along Manchester Road, Hole House Lane, Shay House Lane, Pot House Lane, Cedar Road, Coal Pit Lane, Broomfield Lane, Knowles Avenue, Lee Avenue, Bocking Hill, Nanny Hill, Manchester Road and as normal from Deepcar to Middlewood.

Services affected: 57/201/SL1

Granville Road, City Centre (Sheffield) REVISED DATES

Granville Road will be temporarily closed to traffic between Granville Square roundabout and City Road from 1900 to 0700 each night from Wednesday 24th to Friday 26th August 2016 and Tuesday 30th August to Thursday 1st September. REVISED DATES

Services 7 and 8 towards Woodhouse from Sheffield Interchange via Harmer Lane, Sheaf Street, Park Square, Duke Street, City Road and normal route.

Services 7 and 8 towards Ecclesfield from City Road via Duke Street, Park Square Sheaf Street, Sheaf Square, Suffolk Rod, Granville Square, St Mary’s Road and normal route.

Service 50 towards Chesterfield from Sheffield Interchange via Harmer Lane, Sheaf Street, Park Square, Duke Street, City Road and normal route.

Service 50 towards City Centre via normal route.

Services 71 and 71a towards Chesterfield from Sheffield Interchange via Harmer Lane, Sheaf Street, Park Square, Duke Street, City Road and normal route.

Services 71 and 71a towards City Centre from City Road via Duke Street, Park Square Sheaf Street, Harmer Lane, Sheffield Interchange.

Service 120 towards Halfway from Sheffield Interchange via Harmer Lane, Sheaf Street, Park Square, Duke Street, City Road and normal route.

Service 120 towards Fulwood from City Road via Duke Street, Park Square Sheaf Street, Harmer Lane, Pond Street and normal route.

Greenhill Main Road, Greenhill (Sheffield) REVISED DATES

Greenhill Main Road will be temporarily closed to traffic for road resurfacing between Reney Road roundabout and Greenhill Parkway 0700 to 1900 each day from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th August 2016. REVISED DATES

Service M17 towards Jordanthorpe will run along normal route to Reney Road (Greenhill Library) then turn at Greenhill roundabout, return along Reney Road, Greenhill Parkway, Meadowhead Roundabout and then normal route

Service M17 towards Dore will run along normal route to Meadowhead Roundabout then Greenhill Parkway, Reney Road then turn at Greenhill roundabout, return along Reney Road (Greenhill Library) and then normal route.

Services affected: M17

Addy St/Upperthorpe Rd/Watery St, Upperthorpe (Sheffield)

Addy Street, Upperthorpe and Watery Street will all be closed for carriageway resurfacing work at various points from Monday 22nd August until Wednesday 31st August 2016 (0930–1530 Monday to Friday only; not Bank Holiday Monday)

Monday 22nd August until Tuesday 23rd August 2016

Addy Street will be closed.

Service 10 to operate as normal to Crookesmoor Road then divert via Crookes Valley Road before resuming normal route on Bolsover Street.

Service 10a to operate as normal to Bolsover Street then divert via Crookes Valley Road before resuming normal route on Crookesmoor Road.

Tuesday 23rd August until Wednesday 31st August 2016

Addy Street, Upperthorpe Road and Watery Street will be closed.

Services 10 and 10a to continue diversion as described above.

Service 31 towards Sheffield to operate as normal to Whitehouse Lane at the junction of Burgoyne Road then divert via Whitehouse Lane, Infirmary Road, Shalesmoor and Gibraltar Street before resuming normal route on West Bar.

Service 31 towards Loxley to operate as normal to West Bar then divert via Gibraltar Street, Shalesmoor, Infirmary Road and Whitehouse Lane before resuming normal route at the junction of Burgoyne Road.

Services affected: 10/10a/31
