Frumpy 50s dislike looks

SHEFFIELD has been identified as one of the top 10 cities in the UK where women in their middle years feel frumpiest and suffer the lowest self-esteem.

The city comes eighth in a poll of places where women have the most body hang-ups.

Women aged 40 to 50-plus dislike what they see in the mirror four times more than teenage girls, according to the survey, and a massive 92 per cent of those in their 50s admit to not liking how they look.

The most frumpy-feeling city in Britain was Edinburgh, followed by Cardiff, Plymouth, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, London, Sheffield, Leeds and Birmingham.

Then get off your bum and do something about it! Go to the gym. Buy some fashionable clothes and make up. Change your attitude. It's easy!

And oddly enough, all those cities are full of trendy shops, salons and bars designed for size 6 teenagers.

C'mon frumpies of Sheffield band together and shed your self loathing, you're all beautiful even some bits are heading south. It could be worse you could be from Rotherham
