THREE friends found themselves locked up in Doncaster Prison – but it was all for a very good cause.
Alison Perry, Sarah Collumbine and Emma Moorhouse made a great escape after ‘bail money’ of more than £1,500 was raised to ensure their release.
The funds were all handed over to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, North Anston.
Emma said: “My sister works at the hospice so we’ve seen how valuable the work they do there is.
“When she mentioned the Jail and Bail fundraiser, we thought it would be a good experience while also raising some much needed funds.”
The women gained a head start for their bail thanks to a donation from Oxley & Coward Solicitors.
