Much of the Peak District is still covered by snow and ice with temperatures still struggling to get much above freezing.

The Met Office says temperatures will again struggle to reach above freezing across the Peak District today, with isolated light snow showers. A yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place.

Forecasters predict temperatures will remain low across South Yorkshire, reaching highs of 5C, with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. More sunshine is expected over the weekend.
