Free Press readers looking for a tasty lunchtime treat can tuck into a free cookie courtesy of The Georgian Patisserie with this week’s reader offer.

For this week’s Free Press Freebie we have teamed up with the Frenchgate Centre restaurant to offer every reader a free cookie worth £1.25 - and what’s more, there’s three fantastic varieties to choose from.

You can pick from a trio of freshly baked cookies - double chocolate chip, milk chocolate chip and white chocolate chip - and all you have to do is cut out the coupon on page 26 of this week’s edition and redeem it at The Georgian Patisserie.

The coupon is valid until Thursday, March 5.

Restaurant owner Kevin Bracha, formerly of Torrs and who has worked alongside Marco Pierre-White, said: “We bake cakes and other goods on the premises daily and we want to welcome people to enjoy lunch in fine surroundings with good quality homecooked produce.”

As well as a vast array of sweet treats including gateaux, cheesecakes and scones, the restaurant also sells jacket potatoes, paninis and baguettes and drinks, making it the ideal lunchtime stop. The Georgian Patisserie is open Monday to Saturday 8am to 5.30pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
