CHAPELTOWN’S own version of Freddie Mercury will top the bill at a charity music festival at the Coach and Horses on Monday.
The pub’s Party in the Car Park will also feature five live bands playing throughout the afternoon and evening – with South Yorkshire’s, Shadows of Motown among those taking to the stage stage.
Other acts include Sheffield bands Skin and Bones and Undercover, Irish-band JJ Galway and, of course, the Mercury tribute act.
The show will also highlight the best upcoming talent in Sheffield with teenage band Idiots and Stereo introducing the event – the youngest band member is just 15.
Admission is free but the organisers are asking for people to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support in Sheffield on the day.
Organiser and landlord of the Coach and Horses, Andy Openshaw said: “It is a fantastic day for all the family, great music, food, drink and face painting for the kids.”
