Four remanded on Sheffield murder charge

FOUR men appeared before Sheffield magistrates today charged with the murder of an 18-year-old who died after being struck by a car.

Abdulla Awil Mohamed, from Burngreave, died when a car mounted a pavement and hit him on Coleridge Road, Darnall, on Thursday night.

Four men arrested in connection with the death were quizzed over the weekend and charged with murder last night.

They were remanded in custoday today and will be back in court next week.

They are Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 19, Swarcliffe Road, Darnall; Aminur Mohammed Rahman, 20, of Jubilee Road, Darnall; Muhibur Rahman Jahangir, 19, of Flaxby Road, Darnall and Nizamul Hoque, 19, of Willow Drive, Handsworth.
