Former Sheffield Wednesday player Ronnie Wallwork is facing a second jail term after admitting stealing a car.

The 36-year-old admitted one charge of theft at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court and was warned by the judge he could face prison.

The midfielder, who made seven appearances for the Owls in 2008, was jailed for 15 months in 2011 for selling on parts from stolen high-performance cars.

The former Manchester United player pleaded guilty to a single charge of theft involving an Audi A4 in September 2010, belonging to car finance company Money Barn PLC.
