Don Valley MP Caroline Flint called in at Leaps and Bounds Nursery in Rossington to meet staff and join the children who were getting messy with glue.

The nursery was set up by Allison Dilworth and Lynn Henderson after they lost their jobs at a clothes factory.

Ms Flint said they had created a ‘great’ nursery.

She said: “Their progress in the past nine years has been very impressive.

“This nursery is a testament to Allison and Lynn’s determination to move on after the closure of the clothing factory they worked in.

“They gained HNC and HND qualifications in working with children and young families and are studying at High Melton.”
