Football chief faces court
THE part-owner of Barnsley Football Club, Patrick Cryne, has appeared in court on charges of conspiracy to make misleading statements to investors.
The charges relate to the IT firm, iSoft, which he founded.
Cryne appeared at Southwark Crown Court along with three other ex-directors of the firm - Timothy Whiston, Stephen Graham and John Whelan.
All four were bailed and will re-appear at the same court on March 1.
