FOOTBALL supporters damaged trams in Sheffield after their team was beaten by the Owls.
Three trams were smashed up by Millwall fans following the game against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Stagecoach Supertram said there was a ‘significant amount of damage’, including broken doors and smashed windows.
No-one was injured in the incident.
The Stagecoach spokeswoman said CCTV footage had been given to police to help with the investigation.
