Football fans can add their memories to an exhibition charting the travels of Barnsley FC supporters over the decades.
It’s Just Like Watching Brazil - a nod to a club chant during the 1996 season, when Barnsley won promotion into the Premier League – is an exhibition to be held in the town later this year.
It looks at the travels and travails of Barnsley FC fans as they follow their team to places far and near as well as some of the team’s top players.
Organiser Alison Cooper said it was hoped fans from abroad, those who helped out at amateur clubs and even partners who were ‘football widows’.
She said: “We would like to hear from Barnsley fans and aficionados who have travelled around England to support the club and also perhaps travelled as a group of Tykes fans to watch their country around the world?
“We are looking for stories, memorabilia and images, contemporary or historical, that combined with tales about footballing heroes will create an informative and visual feast.”
