BUDDING footballers wanting to impress Sheffield United have the chance to show off their skills at a soccer camp over the Easter holidays.
The United Initiative soccer camps will give children the chance to practise passing and shooting, dribbling and ball control under the watchful eye of club representatives.
Camps will be held at the Derek Dooley Sports and Community Centre in Crookes, the Gosforth Valley Playing Fields in Dronfield, and the Tideswell Sports Complex, Tideswell.
They will run from Monday, April 2, to Thursday, April 5, and Tuesday, April 10, to Friday, April 13.
A soccer camp will be running at the Derek Dooley Sports and Community Centre for eight days.
Mark Todd, community development manager at Sheffield United, said: “The soccer camps are very inclusive and have proved to be really popular with sporty youngsters looking for an exciting way to spend half-term. It’s also a great way for youngsters to meet new friends and to stay fit and healthy.
“In addition, the camps have proved to be a great opportunity for youngsters to show their potential to coaching staff who are always looking for budding football stars to refer to the Sheffield United development centre.”
The camps are open to children aged between five and 14.
Prices start from £12 per day or £40 for a full week and a 10 per cent sibling discount is on offer for families.
Children booking on both weeks will pay £70.
