SHOP managers from Lidl on Chesterfield Road, Heeley, visited the St Wilfrid’s centre to see how their food donations are put to good use.
Lidl donates food nearing its sell-by date three times a week to the centre on Queen’s Road.
The donation allows the centre’s vulnerable users to enjoy a two course meal every Monday to Friday.
Richard Browse from Lidl said: “St Wilfrid’s is a credit to everyone involved, they’re doing a great job for Sheffield and I look forward to supporting the centre as much as I can.”
St Wilfrid’s director Kevin Bradley said: “It was fantastic they could view the difference their donations make.”
