Flying in for bird display
VISITORS to Wentworth Castle Gardens in Barnsley will be treated to a bird of prey flying display on Sunday.
More than 25 birds of prey will take part, including owls, hawks and falcons. Taking centre stage will be Winston the Snowy owl.
Kids will be able to have their photograph taken with some of the birds during the event which runs from 10am to 5pm.
The birds of prey will perform above the South Lawn and there will be static displays throughout the day as well as flying displays at 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
The event will be run by SMJ Falconry from West Yorkshire and Fall Head Falconry from Silkstone.
