RUGBY League players are used to being nipped around the ankles by flying tackles.
But four Sheffield Eagles players not only had their ankles gently nipped they had their toes tweaked and the soles of their feet sucked - and it did their tired feet the power of good.
Samoan international Misi Taluappa joined team mates Tim Bergin, Alex Szostak and Dane McDonald for a pedicure at fish foot spa, Appyfeet at Crystal Peaks.
Garra rufa fish suck and nibble away the dry skin from the feet and hands leaving you with healthy, rejuvenated skin
The hungry little fish also massage feet, stimulating acupuncture points helping to regulate the nervous system allowing people to relax their bodies and relieve fatigue.
Christina Wright, founder of Appyfeet said: “They seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed it, after the initial tickle.
“I hope to see them again very soon.”
