These are the two ‘lovely’ brothers whose deaths in a car crash have shattered a Doncaster community.

Thomas Isle, aged 18, and his 13-year-old brother, Ashley, were travelling in a red Seat Ibiza when it crashed on the A18 High Street, close to Wyndthorpe Hall near Dunsville on Saturday.

Thomas, who was driving the car, died at the scene, and Ashley died on Monday night in Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Hundreds of tributes have seen been posted on social media and left at the crash site.

Sarah Jepson said: “RIP boys. Thoughts are with their family at this very sad time. My daughter is 18 and she sometimes drives her little brother around, can’t begin to imagine the pain.”

Christina Barber-Callender said: “So desperately sad. Two lovely lads. RIP Tom and Ash. Sincere condolences to their dad and family.”

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Ashley Isle and his 18-year-old brother, Thomas, were in a red Seat Ibiza that was involved in a collision on the A18 High Street, at around 6.40pm on November 7.

“Thomas suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

“Ashley was critically injured and taken to hospital where he sadly died.

“The family continues to receive support from specialist officers and have asked their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information, is asked to call the police on 101.
