Doncaster construction companies Frank Haslam Milan and Keepmoat Site Services have for the 19th year running given their support to a charity that provides outward bound and adventure activities for disadvantaged children.
The firms were the main sponsors of the gruelling Crookstone Adventure Trust River Trent Relay Race, which saw 24 runners in teams of two running 70 miles along the River Trent from Gainsborough to the Humber Bridge and back again in eight hours.
The firms provided £1,000 in sponsorship, a minibus to transport the runners on the day, and even stumped up two runners to take part.

A QUIZ and curry night takes place at St Nicholas Church Hall, Bawtry, next Saturday to raise money for the church, with teams of six people invited to test their knowledge from 7.30pm.
