STAFF at Sheffield based roofing specialists Martin-Brooks have pledged to raise £25,000 for good causes, to mark its 25th anniversary.

The Darnall firm’s latest fundraising effort has seen them raise a further £2,000 at its annual golf day at Grassmoor Golf Centre in Chesterfield.

Some 17 teams took part in the 18-hole Stableford competition, which was won by GS Roofing Supplies from Barnsley, while Martin-Brooks’ Alex Elmore secured victory in the individual category.

Dale Wright, Martin-Brooks’ contracts director and organiser of the event, said: “We are very grateful to everyone who continues to support our charity fundraising – without their generosity we could not hope to reach our £25,000 goal.”
