Doncaster Rovers are hoping to make November the Fifth a night to remember by holding the biggest firework display in town.
The Big Bang Firework Extravaganza will feature displays for both adults and children on the East side of Keepmoat Stadium opposite the lake.
Stalls, rides and attractions provided by Roger Tuby and Son International Funfairs will surround the stadium.
The event is being supported by Stoneacre Motor Group and Meadowhall, Wilfreda Beehive are operating bus shuttles services to the stadium for the event and Danny Oakes, from Capital FM, is providing the soundtrack to the evening.
Gavin Baldwin, Rovers chief executive, said: “We are proud to hold the biggest annual firework display in Doncaster.
“Public firework displays are a safe and exciting way to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night. With two displays and a funfair, the Big Bang Firework Extravaganza has something for the whole family and I am sure that it will prove very popular once again.”
The event kicks off at 4.30pm, with a display specially designed for children starting at 6.30pm. The main display will take place at 8.45pm.
Tickets for the event are priced at £3, with £1 being donated to charities including Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Help a Capital FM Child.
