Firefighters tackle house blaze in Sheffield

Three fire engines were deployed to a house blaze in Sheffield last night.

The fire in Algar Place, Arbourthorne, was discovered at 7.45pm.

Crews found that the house was empty.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.

In the early hours of this morning firefighters dealt with a blaze in Clifton Park, Rotherham.

A climbing frame had been set alight.

They also dealt with a Ford Mondeo torched in West End Lane, New Rossington, Doncaster and a Citroen Saxo fired in Sheffield Road, Todwick, Rotherham.

A car was also found burning in Norman Crescent, New Rossington, Doncaster, in the early hours of this morning.
