Firefighters are still dealing with a blaze at a disused nightclub in Barnsley - over 24 hours after it broke out.

The fire at the former Chicago Rock club, New Street, Barnsley town centre, was first reported at 12.45am yesterday and firefighters spent three hours extinguishing the flames.

But at 5.20am that day they were called out again to reports that the building was engulfed in flames.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze will be launched once the flames are all out.
