South Yorkshire firefighters dealt with a car torched in an arson attack this morning.

A Vauxhall Corsa was found burning in Littleworth Lane, Monk Bretton, Barnsley, at 2.05pm.

Last night Rotherham crews dealt with a sofa set on fire in a garden in Cedric Crescent, Thurcroft and a vehicle fired in Blyth Road, Maltby.

Doncaster firefighters dealt with a bin set alight in Hatfield Lane, Armthorpe and a car which caught fire after developing an electrical fault in Mount Pleasant Road, Thorne.
