The fire service were called out to a chip pan blaze that broke out at a Sheffield home last night.

The fire started at a property in Deerlands Avenue, Parson Cross at around 9.30pm.

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said the blaze, believed to have originated from a chip pan, had been extinguished by the time the fire service arrived.

No-one is believed to have been injured in the blaze.
