Doncaster Racecourse's penultimate flat meeting of the season this month also sees Best Dressed Lady calendar highlight with crowning of overall winner.
Popular Racing Post Trophy meet gets underway on Friday October 21 before following day's season final Group 1 event showcasing future champions.
“Our Racing Post Trophy weekend is always a big hit with race-goers and attracts some of the UK’s top up-and-coming jockeys and racehorse,” said Doncaster Racecourse marketing manager Abby Chandler.
“Some of the future champions of British Horse Racing battle it out for the coveted Group 1 Racing Post Trophy and, in the past, we have seen winners, such as Kingston Hill, go on to claim significant titles like St Leger Stakes the following year.
"It is fair to say everyone will be focused on popular jockey Andrea Atzeni, who has won The Racing Post Trophy for the last three years, bringing Kingston Hill, Elm Park and Marcel home. Will he be able to make it a fourth?”
Racing Post Trophy Day will also see culmination of Go Racing in Yorkshire Best Dressed Lady, bringing together nine winner’s from the county’s competition between May and last month.
South Yorkshire pride is Doncaster’s dressed finalist Maria Gledhill from Rossington, who will battle it out in style stakes for chance to claim coveted title and prize package including chance to become face of Go Racing in Yorkshire’s 2017 marketing campaign.
Following the Saturday's last race, visitors will be invited into Exhibition Hall to party with PYT’s male and female-fronted six-piece band boasting pop, soul, disco, rock and R&B repertoire.
