BIKE-MAD grandad Roger Peacock made his final journey carried by a motor-trike, accompanied by scores of fellow bikers who turned out for his funeral.

Roger, a Parson Cross man for all his 47 years, died after a battle with stomach cancer.

He leaves a wife, four children and two grandchildren.

Mum Mary, aged 70, said: “He fought the cancer all the way. We will miss him so much. He was such a thoughtful man and never wanted anything for himself.

“I’m not sure how we will go on.”

His funeral at Grenoside Crematorium yesterday was attended by dozens of bikers in tribute to his lifelong passion for motorbikes.
