Staff and patrons of Sheffield’s famous Fiesta Club are meeting tonight for a reunion.
The event takes place at the Banker’s Draft pub on Market Street, in Sheffield city centre today.
The get-together will begin at 4pm and all who used to frequent the iconic club are invited to go along and reminisce about old times.
Among those attending is the club’s former compere Paul Stevens, who later went on to become a singer and entertainer, and lives in Australia.
The club opened in 1970 on Arundel Gate and some of the biggest stars of the era performed there.
Acts included The Shadows, The Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder and the Jackson Five.
The club closed in 1976 after a strike by workers.
