Festive fun was on the agenda when residents joined countryside rangers to get creative ahead of the Christmas celebrations.
Burncross Action Team, countryside rangers and Activity Sheffield organised a wreath-making session in Foxfield Spring Wood.
The woods were transformed with lights and marquees, and High Green Brass band, whose members are aged from 12 to 69, entertained with a selection of Christmas carols.
Rangers Tom Broadhead and Richard Saunders demonstrated how to create the wreaths, made of willow rings and decorated with conifer, holly and ribbons.
A spokeswoman said: “The event was well attended by over 40 children and adults, who took their hand made wreaths home.”
