Festival was 'big success'
SHEFFIELD'S Summer of Sanctuary events to highlight the contribution of refugees to city life were a big success, say council leaders.
The three-month-long festival included dance, music, drama and discussions, involving more than 100 organisations, attended by thousands of people.
A finale celebration was held at Sheffield Town Hall by Lord Mayor Alan Law to thank community groups and individuals who "helped to make Summer of Sanctuary a success".
