A feast of fun will come to a Doncaster village for 11 whole hours next month as Rossington prepares to host a huge family fun day.
The Miners’ Welfare will be the venue for the event on July 26 with a host of activities and entertainments lined up throughout the day to keep visitors of all ages happy.
The fun kicks off at 11am and entrance to the event, which runs until 10pm will be free.
Activities will include performances from the Geddes School of Dance, giant bouncy castles and slides, a fun run obstacle course and a rodeo bull.
Bright Sparks day nursery will be hosting activities for younger visitors and there will also be a gunge tank, sumo suits and burlesque dancing performances.
If that isn’t enough, there will also be glitter tattoos, face painting, magic, clowning, arts and craft stalls and a demonstration from the Prison Service drug dog team.
The day will be rounded off with an evening family disco with money from the day helping to raise cash for improvements to the Welfare Ground and buildings.
