A FASHION show is to be staged to raise cash for the restoration of the historic mill buildings at Sheffield’s Millhouses Park.

Jane Bradley, who owns Perfectly Dressed in Millhouses, is to stage the event at the Waggon and Horses pub, Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield.

Thursday’s fashion show will also feature a raffle, with prizes donated by other Millhouses businesses including afternoon tea at Vanilla Coffee Shop, a meal at the Waggon and Horses and £20 voucher for Woodhouse Florist. Items from Jane’s store will also be available for purchase.

The Friends of Millhouses Park, together with Sheffield Council, are working to bring the buildings back into use and have secured nearly £130,000 to kick-start the development.

Jane, aged 52, said: “The fashion show is to help bring members of the Millhouses community together.”

Tickets for the fashion show are priced at £5, which includes supper. They can be bought from Perfectly Dressed and the Waggon and Horses.

Doors open at 7pm and the show will start at 7.30pm.
