A FUNDRAISING family fun day helped to boost the coffers of a Doncaster organisation to the tune of more than £1,000.
The therapy taster day, held in aid of DonMentia, the Doncaster Dementia Forum, attracted a number of visitors throughout the day with those in attendance able to enjoy a selection of fun and games.
Saturday’s event featured a variety of stalls, prizes, raffles and tombola as well as an antiques stall.
There was also the chance to enjoy therapies, cakes and refreshments – and guests even sang happy birthday to one of the day’s 90-year-old visitors.
Civic Mayor Coun Christine Mills was also in attendance. Chair Eileen McRobbie said: “Everyone there enjoyed it – the atmosphere, the warm welcome, the interesting stalls and prizes. Many thanks to all who helped in whatever way, too numerous to mention.”
