Creatures from the deep made an appearance in Sheffield to entertain children and grown-ups out shopping.
Sheffield Aquarium performances took place in the Peace Gardens – accompanying Sheffield by the Seaside which has seen a temporary beach set up – in the latest Summer Saturday event to bring families into the city centre.
Entertainers donned lobster, octopus and eel costumes to perform poems and music.
Artist Paul Evans, who had the idea, said: “It’s about bringing laughter and celebration.”
Summer Saturdays continues with street magic on August 31.
