Eyes down for a free game as bingo celebrates 80th birthday
BINGO players in Sheffield are gearing up for a full house when they celebrate the 80th birthday of the game.
The Sheffield Gala Bingo club on Cricket Inn Road, off the Parkway, will offer everyone a free game on Thursday January 29 as part of its celebrations marking 80 years since the invention of the game in 1929.
Other deals will include a 10 play all day ticket this Saturday, and 5 to play on Tuesday January 20.
David Heap, Gala Bingo Sheffield general manager, said: "It's the perfect time of year to kick off the birthday celebrations, with everyone recovering from Christmas and what better way to get in the spirit, than with special offers and free bingo.
"Everyone has their own memories of their first bingo experience, but this year is all about celebrating bingo's 80 great years, with many more to come we're sure."
