Energetic Blue needs a loving forever home - could you be her new family?
The black and white three-year-old lurcher arrived at Sheffield RSPCA in September last year and has proven himself to be lively and exuberant.
RSPCA spokesman Adam Spencer said: “Blue is a fantastic boy who is looking for a loving new home.
“He is a lively and exuberant lad who is full of fun and enjoys being out and about enjoying the fresh air and any interesting aromas he can have a good sniff at.
“Blue is very food motivated and will work hard to gain any tidbit. He can be so enthusiastic with his food and likes to keep it all for himself.
“We are helping him to understand that his food is his own and he doesn`t have to worry about anyone taking it away from him.”
He added: “Blue mixes well with some small breed dogs but he can find big dogs quite scary, so would prefer to be an only pet.
“He has not spent much time around other animals and he could do with further confidence building and socialisation.so that he may in future make some solid doggy friendships.
“Blue is full of energy and likes to bounce around like a large puppy, he really likes to get you involved in the fun too. We think children 13 years and older would be better housemates for him, so that they are able to enjoy in fun that Blue has to offer.
“This lad will make a loyal and loving family addition for anyone with the time to train and encourage him, he really is a sweetheart and he is eager to please.
“He just needs a little love and a friend to hold his paw and guide him down the right path.
“Could you offer him a loving new home?”
