Old coins, medal collections and pretty porcelain were dusted down ready for a valuation day in Sheffield.
Antiques expert Frank Berry paid a visit to the city for the free event, organised to raise cash for two charities.
Dore’s Old School in Savage Lane played host to residents armed with their prized possessions, eager to find out how much items were worth.
Among those were Simon Thompson, of Churchside Antiques, who brought along a Rolex watch to be examined. Free home visits were also offered to those with items too big to take along.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and the Alzheimer’s Society.
