Expanding with Garry

LAMBERT Smith Hampton has expanded its Sheffield-based Building Consultancy Division with the appointment of Garry Curtis.

Mr Curtis is a Chartered Building Surveyor and comes from South Yorkshire, although has worked for LSH in Nottingham since graduating from Sheffield Hallam University.

He has acted on behalf of clients who include BT, Royal Mail, Hertfordshire County Council and National Grid Property.

Barry Smith, Head of Building Consultancy at LSH's Sheffield office, says Mr Curtis's appointment is the result of an increasing requirement for building surveying services.

Meanwhile, Lambert Smith Hampton has named Richard Moffat as Planning Consultant at its Sheffield and Manchester offices.

Mr Moffat has been a director in the firm's planning, development and regeneration department in Manchester since January last year and has more than 21 years' experience in town and country planning matters.

Guy Gilfillan, head of LSH's Sheffield office, said: "I am delighted that Richard will be joining us in the Sheffield office on a regular basis.

"There is a major opportunity for him to expand the service."
