Everyday tale of city art
ART inspired by everyday life in a corner of Sheffield city centre was put on show by a group of eight undergraduates.
The second year fine art students from Sheffield Hallam University spent time on The Moor, coming up with ideas for their own exhibition.
The finished works then went on show in a vacant shop unit and in other locations around the area as part of the event titled 0001.
Jody Cliffe, aged 29, one of the students involved in the project, said: "The area, which is steeped in history, is such an important part of the city and this, along with the interesting characters we've come across on The Moor, have provided us with endless inspiration.
"We were on The Moor for just over a week and we created some amazing pieces, including a few short films looking at everyday life and a light sculpture."
Jody added: "Once we were tasked with the project we quickly came up with the idea of the exhibition on The Moor. It was a challenging task as we had to organise everything from the insurance to the marketing."
