Events set to draw a crowd

DRAWING will be top of the agenda on Saturday when Barnsley museums stage free events to coincide with the national Big Draw.

Cannon Hall Museum, Park and Gardens is joining the worldwide game of geocaching, creating a Big Draw treasure trail around the park and gardens for others to find using GPS technology, 11am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Visitors to the Cooper Gallery can join the African- themed Pencil Party, 11am to 3pm, which coincides with the new Africa 53 exhibition.

And families visiting Worsbrough Mill can join the Wonderful Wacky World of Wire to create wire sculptures, 10am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm. Booking is advised.
