AN EVENING walk is to be held at Wharncliffe Heathlands Reserve, Sheffield, next week.
The evening exploration of the reserve will feature pond dipping looking for palmate newts, dragonfly and damselfly larvae and identifying bat species.
The walk, on Tuesday, July 24, will be led by members of the nature reserve Trust’s committee. Anyone interested should meet at the River Don bridge, Station Road, Deepcar, at 9pm. Participants are advised to wear stout footwear and bring warm clothes and refreshments.
