Budding entrepreneurs can now find out how to become market traders in North East Derbyshire thanks to the launch of a website.

North East Derbyshire District Council has launched www.loveyourmarket.org.uk as part of an on-going campaign to boost weekly markets which run across the district.

The website provides potential traders with all the information and guidance they need to get started.

Coun Pat Kerry, cabinet member with responsibility for the economy, said: “There are weekly markets in Clay Cross, Eckington, Killamarsh and Dronfield, with stall rents starting from as little as £6 per week.”

People without internet access can call 01246 217550 for information about taking a stall.
