Enthusiasts gather for annual motor (and bike and fire engine) show - PICTURES
CAR and bike enthusiasts flocked to an annual motor show in the Hope Valley yesterday to see more than 200 vehicles on display.
Top flight trials bikes, one of which is due to be used in the World Trials Championship later this year, were exhibited alongside vintage, modern and classic competition cars including a 1929 Speed 6 Bentley rally car and a Frantic dragster.
Classic and modern rally cars were also on display as well as track cars dating back to the 1950s, with their owners and drivers there to talk about the vehicles. A 1955 Land Rover fire engine was also taken to the event.
The show, organised by Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club, was held at The Traveller's Rest, Brough Lane Head.
It is tradition for it to be held on the Monday nearest to the longest day of the year.
